In Depth

Born in Eastport, New York, Scott "Lord" Disick is a Jewish-American reality television personality and entrepreneur.

He first rose to fame as the lover of reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he had three children: Mason Dash, Penelope Scotland, and Reign Aston.

Their highly controversial on and off relationship became a popular subplot in the show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

Scott also appeared as himself on other Kardashian shows. Namely: "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," and "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons."

He is also well known for his expensive taste in fashion, and thus starred on his own web series "Lord Disick: Lifestyles of a Lord." He has also made appearances on other American TV shows, like Punk'd.

Scott was born on May 26, 1983. He is the only child of Jeffrey and Bonnie Disick. As a teenager, Scott modeled on the cover of young adult books.

He had the reputation of a hard partier and was even arrested twice when he was 18. Once for speeding and once for driving under the influence. He went to a private school in East Hampton, though it is alleged that Scott never graduated, since there is no indication that he furthered his education in college.

Scott ventured into various entrepreneurial endeavors. According to him, he identifies himself as a businessman. Scott invested money in private start-up companies, specifically in setting up nightclubs with his friends.

Scott also opened a Japanese restaurant in New York called Ryu, but he shortly cut ties with the business and it was shut down months later. He has also produced numerous products in the wellness sector. These include the Monte Carlo Self-Tanning Gel, Amidren by Scott Disick, Rejuvicare, and QuickTrim, all of which are affiliated with and marketed by the Kardashians.

Scott met Kourtney Kardashian at the house of 'Girls Gone Wild' creator Joe Francis in 2006. They started dating shortly after. However, the honeymoon period did not last long. Scott was accused of cheating multiple times, which made their relationship unstable.

Furthermore, Scott had been in controversies due to his anger issues and drinking habits. This led to public flare-ups with Kourtney, and a lot of checking in and out of rehab facilities.

Scott was reported to be having affairs with various women in different occasions, but the Kardashian reality star seemed to be indifferent about it. In one episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," after years of drama, the co-parents had a conversation where Kourtney clarified that they could never again work as a romantic pair.

The two redefined their relationship limits for the kids, and they began to have a more healthy friendship. Scott openly admits he is a womanizer and created a buzz in the media when he was seen with his ex, Chloe Bartoli, and actress Bella Thorne in a separate fling, both in Cannes.

After being ditched from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Scott is alleged to be filming his very own reality show with girlfriend, Sofia Richie. This is not the first time Scott tried to return to television, as the reality star and entrepreneur launched a property show called "Royally Flipped" in 2017. However, it was cancelled immediately.

When it comes to social media, Scott frequently updates stories about his lavish lifestyle, as well as his personal life with his girlfriend, and as a father of three. Scott has over 20 million followers on Instagram, over 2 million on Facebook, and over 6 million on Twitter.
