There was no shortage of Acer monitors to choose from while creating this list. Although the company is best known for their laptops, they also produce a wide variety of desktop displays with a primary focus on gaming. There’s no harm in purchasing a crystal-clear screen for any purpose though, so I made sure to include some professional workstation-type products for this list as well.
There are many factors to consider when evaluating a monitor, but screen quality tends to be at the top. Acer’s flagship Predator lineup offers an appealing price to performance ratio with excellent screen clarity and color depth. Thus, the Predator XB271HU and Predator X34P both fought their way to the very top of this list with ease. The former is seven inches larger than the latter for an additional $300 or so. Both are optimized for gaming, but perform well under all circumstances.
I included the XR-382CQK since it manages to offer an amazing viewing experience even with a super wide, curved stature. Bordering between a giant monitor and a small television, this device is a great replacement for multiple, smaller screens. I added the SB270 Bbix as a budget option. While relatively cheap monitors usually sacrifice something obvious for price, I really couldn’t find anything wrong with this display. It’s not going to give you a jaw-dropping experience, but with full HD and a solid refresh rate, it should definitely be on your radar.
