March 15, 2021:
In this update, we removed the Dodocool Dock and the Bavier Bamboo Station due to availability concerns and removed the Belkin Powerhouse because it didn't seem to last as long as other options.
New to the list, the Choetech Portable works as a typical stand/charger when nestled into its base but it also doubles as a power bank for use on the go. The built-in USB port can be used to charge a phone, tablet, or other device simultaneously.
The Elago W3 has a whimsical design that's inspired by a classic Macintosh computer. The durable silicone that surrounds the watch should help protect it from cracking or other damage if you accidentally knock it over.
If you prefer a more natural aesthetic, the BoxThink Wood's bamboo construction might appeal to you. It has slots designed for a phone and an Airpods case, in addition to a stand for the Apple Watch, as well as a slot for a credit card and a small tray that can be used to hold loose change.
We also added two special honors: the Apple Watch Magnetic, which is on the pricey side for a model that only supports a single device but comes directly from Apple itself, and the Nomad Base Station, which can charge up to five devices at once.

Charging speed, convenience, compact size, and portability are all important factors to consider when investing in a stand for your Apple Watch, In many cases, you'll have the option to charge additional gadgets using the same base station, as there are many choices equipped with both Lightning and conventional USB ports for accommodating a variety of devices (e.g. iPhones, Air Pods, tablets, etc.). For all these reasons, the stands on our list are ideal for busy professionals and they can also double as nifty accent pieces when placed in a bedroom, kitchen, or office environment. I also wanted to include as many options as possible that could accommodate bulky phone cases, as having to remove the devices from their protective cases and slide them back in later is a real pain, especially when you're traveling.
Both the Zens Dual and Dodocool Dock offer inductive charging capability, the former of which delivers 20 watts of power with built-in thermal overload protection while the latter can be folded so that a watch may be displayed flat or at a 45-degree angle. I added the Spigen S350 due to its extremely compact size, making it perfect for travel, while its adhesive silicone pad and Nanotac base keep it secured to any desktop surface. It also offers a reversible design for accommodating thick cases. I also included the Belkin Powerhouse because of its adjustable Lightning connector and long power cable. The Simpeak 4-Port is ideal for multi-device households and it also provides completely hidden cord storage inside its hollow organizer. I included the Mangotek 4-in-1 for its nonslip rubber feet, vented design, and LED indicators. Its watch cradle is also removable, as is the one accompanying the Bavier Bamboo Station. I thought the Mercase 2-in-1 was a convenient option for those wishing to both charge their device and watch TV shows or movies on it at the same time. Finally, the Elago W fits unobtrusively inside most automobile cup holders, while the silicone top and bottom protect both your watch and car's console from scratches.
