Editor's Notes
December 11, 2020:
We removed the TouchNew Skin Tone, the Tanmit Dual Tip Brush Pens, and the Crayola Edge due to availability concerns and replaced them with the Keebor Premium, the Ohuhu Double Tipped, and the Shuttle Art Alcohol Based. The Shuttle Art Alcohol Based markers are a good pick if you’re a beginner or if you’re planning on getting them for a child. They’re fairly inexpensive, so if you don't use them as much as you hoped or if they're treated roughy, it won’t be a huge waste.
Although we removed the TouchNew Skin Tone, we still have the Tombow Blendable for those who want a set that has a range of skin colors. The Copic Markers Basic remains in our top spot because Copic continues to produce some of the highest quality markers in terms of their longevity, blendability, and smoothness. However, if you’re looking for something less expensive, but still want professional quality, the Caliart Twin collection is the way to go.
