Editor's Notes
May 31, 2020:
In selecting our baby bath towels, we looked for fabrics that will feel soft and be gentle on a little one's skin, cute designs, good absorbency, and durable construction that withstands lots of use and washing.
On the note of longevity, we removed the KiddyStar Burp Cloths as they tend to shrink too much in the wash, and aren't large enough for bath use anyways. We added the Green Sprouts Knitted Swaddle, which gets softer after each wash, and the Spasilk Terry, the colors of which remain vibrant through many cycles in the machine. Another item we decided to eliminate is the BabyBoss 600GSM because it can't be tumble dried, and hang drying such items can often lead to mildew. The Magic Baby Organic Muslin is also overly laborsome to keep clean, as it must be hand-washed, so it, too, lost its place.
Anything that makes bath time easier is appreciated, so we like the ForEverPure Puppy because it comes with a rubber duckie, and there's nothing like a good bath toy to keep a cutie entertained. We also appreciate the ClevaMama Apron Wrap, because it's both a wearable accessory for a parent and a towel for baby, allowing for mom or dad to get a secure hold on a munchkin during the drying process. The Little Tinkers World lost its place because it creates a lot of lint, which nobody wants to clean up.
Children won't allow you to swaddle them in towels with animal hoods and awe-worthy details like that for long, so to make the most of these precious years, we added the Hudson Baby Unisex Pretty Elephant and the Baby Aspen Utterly Adorable Cow. We removed the Bugie Bamboo because we felt there were better options when it comes to towels with bear hoods, like the Channing & Yates Premium Set, which comes with a washcloth, and the Jinee Ultra Soft with its durable stitching.
