Fox Racing Moth 22oz Purist The Fox Racing Moth 22oz Purist offers the "MoFlo" cap, which keeps leaks at bay and makes drinking mid-ride a breeze. It's made of all high-quality, food-grade plastic, of course, and has a viewing strip on the side so you can gauge the contents at a glance. foxracing.com

The Original Cycling Bottle by Coloral Plastic options are certainly popular, but some riders need a bit more style; for these fashion-conscious commuters, there's The Original Cycling Bottle by Coloral, an eye-catching stainless steel option with fluting and a cork base. The tradeoff is capacity, though, as it can only transport 14 ounces. coloral.cc

Editor's Notes

June 10, 2019:

At this time, we still think that riders can count on the CamelBak Podium Big Chill 25oz — with one big caveat. Some find it tough to clean, because to prevent mold, you have to take the top apart and scrub it. Because it has some nooks and crevices, you might want to invest in a set of bottle and straw cleaning brushes from the outset, as they will make the process easier. For those who don't want to put in the work, the Polar Insulated is a viable option. Note that it's insulated but still plastic, so it won't keep your drink cold for as long as the stainless double-walled tumblers and bottles that are so prevalent nowadays. You'll want to start with very cold water, preferably with ice or even frozen. Or, you can try the Travel Kuppe, which does have stainless steel construction for all-day heat or cold retention. It's more of an investment, though.

Finally, we'd like to say a word about the Embrava Sports. We love its simple, stylish design, huge capacity, and impact resistance, but it unfortunately has a tendency to leak. If you're only going to throw it in your bottle cage, this is probably fine, but you won't want to put it in your backpack or bag.
