Updated January 31, 2019 by Melissa Harr

This wiki has been updated 19 times since it was first published in January of 2019. You can do many things with hot-melt adhesive, from making jewelry to fixing cabinets, but when you're stuck in one spot, your crafty capabilities are much more limited. That's why you'll want one of these cordless glue guns. They give you the freedom to go where you're needed, for quicker results. We've included those that heat on a stand as well as those with onboard power. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

January 29, 2019:

Although stand-heating models can be limiting, since they do not remain hot for as long as those with on-board power, models of both types were nevertheless added, since the former are often less expensive and/or complicated. But if cost is not an option, the Ryobi 18V One+ is a top choice, since it is sturdy, powerful, and a useful part of the company's One Plus system. The Black & Decker Cordless is similar, although it's known to have issues with the trigger from time to time.
