The 8 Best Cordless Jump Ropes
Editor's Notes
December 02, 2020:
In this update, we removed the ActionLine KY-71068 due to quality issues, as the weights tended to fall off with heavy use. The Sharbay Inc. and EC Vision were also removed due to availability concerns, and the Ueasy Adjustable was removed because, on further inspection, we found that it was nearly identical to another model already on the list.
New to the list, the Te-Rich Fitness has textured silicone handles designed to be easy to grip and a backlit screen that displays stats day and night. The Denvosi Professional has larger counterweight balls than most, and since they have a foam exterior, they make this one a safer option for those worried about accidentally hitting themselves or someone else with it while they work out. The Surwit Skipping has a sleek design available in multiple colors and has a rope that can be attached for traditional jumping.
While some of the options on the list are simple models that don't utilize technology, there are a number that have built-in digital displays. These track metrics like reps, time, and (if you enter your weight) calories burned. Some also allow you to set goals and let you know when you've reached them, which can help keep you motivated. Several options come with cords, allowing you to use the ropeless option indoors but switch to corded when you go outside.

The Keweis Digital was the clear winner in this category. While the digital display and activity tracker were nice touches, the ability to attach a rope to it makes it incredibly versatile, especially considering the primary complaint with many of the lower-rated features on the list is the durability of the weights. Being able to use the device even if something breaks makes it a smart option, especially for those who tend to be hard on their equipment.
