Compared to regular diaper bags, designer bags can occasionally be short on features, though some — like the PacaPod Mirano or the Petunia Pickle Bedford Avenue do still boast things like detachable stroller straps or insulated bottle pockets. Some of the models on our previous list lacked these, or lacked enough capacity to be truly useful for more than a brief outing, which was the case with the Milly Minis Backpack.
Among the newcomers to this ranking, you'll find the Gucci GG Canvas and the Kate Spade New York Wilson. I have to admit I'm a sucker for the design on the Gucci bag. It doesn't go as far not to look like a diaper bag as much of the competition, but it's such an outlandish print that what it contains will be the last thing on most people's minds. And the bright orange changing mat stands to add a little flair to what is decidedly an unglamorous task in raising children.
And if you're not completely sold on the necessity of paying for a top-tier brand like Coach or Gucci, you shouldn't sleep on the Freshly Picked Convertible Classic.
