The 10 Best Eyelash Curlers

Updated July 14, 2019 by Gia Vescovi-Chiordi

This wiki has been updated 27 times since it was first published in January of 2017. We've rounded up a list of some of the best eyelash curlers on the market today. There are many aspects to consider when choosing one that's right for you, including your eye shape and size, since these are not always one-size-fits-all. Look for one that will enhance your lashes without pinching or pulling, and that offers the dramatic or natural appearance you prefer. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

July 12, 2019:

Since this list went through a longer-than-usual period between updates, we completely overhauled it to include the most up to date selections. We kept cult favorites such as the Kevyn Aucoin, Shu Uemura, and Shiseido Curler, and added the much-touted Surratt Relevee. The latter commanded our #1 spot due to its exceptionally high quality, well thought out design, and excellent results.

For the budget-minded, the Brilliant Beauty and Kaasage Advanced can't be beat, while the Acavado Electric represents a solid compromise for those who find themselves constantly heating up their curler with a hair dryer. The fact that it charges via USB is an added bonus.

It's important to note that there really isn't any such thing as a universal curler, as eyes vary greatly in shape and size. The more curved the wand, the better it is suited to big, round, or wide eyes, while the opposite holds true for those with flatter lids. Depending on your hand strength, your lash length, eye shape, and habits (are you using your curler before mascara application, after, or both), you're bound to try out a few curlers before you find the perfect match. Our list strives to have options to suit a diverse market, so there's hopefully a solution in there for you.

We prioritized durable materials, smooth operation, quality pads, and ergonomic design when ranking this list, followed by aesthetics, price, warranties, and bonus accessories.
