The 10 Best Fabric Markers

Updated September 29, 2019 by Sheila O'Neill

This wiki has been updated 24 times since it was first published in February of 2018. If you're looking for a fun and easy way to personalize your clothing, fabric markers are the way to go. The sets on this list are full of vibrant colors that won't fade after a cycle in the washing machine. They're also generally quite affordable, so there's no reason not to pick up a pack, unleash your creativity, and turn a plain T-shirt, skirt, or hat into a masterpiece. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

September 26, 2019:

Made sure to include plenty of variety regarding both color and thickness, as some projects require very thin pens while chisel tips work better for others. Some options, like the Creative Joy Brilliant and the US Art Supply Super, have dual-tips, so you can work with each color in the thickness of your choice. If you have limited time, make sure to check how long it takes for the ink to set. Some simply need to sit for a few days, while others need to be ironed or put through a hot cycle in the dryer in order to cure properly.
