Editor's Notes

August 02, 2019:

Generally speaking, there are two types of cover represented here: those that perform their function with class and dignity, and those that make a statement.

The PGC Leatherette are a good example of the former, as their sleek black appearance will dress up your bag while protecting your clubs. The only attention they're likely to garner are approving glances from similarly-minded duffers.

The Team Effort Collegiate, on the other hand, make a bold statement about your fandom, one that's sure to elicit comments — both good and bad — from other golfers. If you enjoy talking to strangers and aren't above a bit of friendly jawing, they may just make you some new friends. Of course, if you stew over every slight, then your game might suffer every time you're reminded of your team's last painful loss.
