June 10, 2020:

Anyone who loves Superheroes and who also loves to build with bricks is sure to enjoy any of these exciting Lego Superheroes sets, most of which depict epic scenes from the comics or the shows. In today’s update, we added in the Wonder Woman vs Cheetah, which sets the stage for two arch-enemies facing off at a bunker with a golden tower. The scene depicted is from the yet-to-be-released “Wonder Woman 1984” movie starring Gal Gadot as the main character. It features 371 pieces in all, with three minifigures, the third depicting that of Max, who mans the controls while Wonder Woman flies around the tower while waiting for the supervillain to arrive. Wonder Woman is decked out in a golden suit with a matching lasso. This set rounds out the list with some characters that hadn’t been featured as of yet. It replaces the Scarecrow: Harvest of Fear, a smaller Batman-related set; for other Batman options, check out the Green Lantern vs. Sinestro, a relatively easy build that’s suitable for ages six and up, as well as the Batcave Break-In, a fun set that recreates an action-packed scene from the movie “LEGO Batman” in which the Penguin has located Bruce Wayne’s hideout.

For an epic build that features Iron Man, Thor, and others, look to the Attack on Avengers Tower, in which you’ll help the heroes defend their tower from an Ultron attack from the inside. The structure features plenty of rooms and hidden surprises, including a laboratory, a sick bay, and blasting doors and windows. For a couple of sets that come with giants that can assist the characters in battle, look to the Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap, in which Spiderman needs to escape the evil and oversized Octo-Bot, as well as The Hulk Buster Smash, which comes with a massive suit that can be worn by Iron Man as a costume.

If you’ve got a little (or big) Batman fanatic on your hands, check out our list of fun and exciting Lego Batman sets which feature the Caped Crusader and his friends and foes depicted in popular scenes from both the comics and the movies. Or, for some multipurpose building sets, you can’t go wrong with some Lego Classic Sets. On a safety-related note, Lego sets all come with small pieces and therefore are not intended for small children. Be sure to adhere to the manufacturer’s age requirements, and always supervise kids and their toys for a safe playtime.
