Editor's Notes

March 21, 2019:

Given its utility and intelligent design, the Fjallraven Kanken retained its place at the top of our list. The Wildkin model gained significant ground, reaching all the way to our seconds spot, thanks to its great variety of style and kid-friendly layout. The Froomer Vintage Satchel no longer appears to be an offering by the company, so we went ahead and replaced it with an entry from Jansport, which is arguably one of the most trustworthy and recognizable brands in the business.
