While this list is filled with options that are perfect for iPhone users, you might want to peruse our main list of scanners before making your purchase. You may still find the one you want here, but it's worth at least checking out what your options are first.
That said, we're not sure what you could want that the options listed here don't already provide. Fuel efficiency tracking, maintenance alerts, troubleshooting — you can find a device here that does all or most of those things, and they're much more compact than many of their standard counterparts.
The biggest drawbacks you'll find with one of these models are likely to be connectivity issues and trouble finding a suitable app. As to the former issue, expect to choose between Bluetooth and WiFi. The biggest problem with Bluetooth is that it may interfere with other apps that use it, like your GPS system or phone; meanwhile, the obvious downside to using WiFi is that it's not always available and you might run up mobile data charges.
The app issue is a bit thornier. There are many on the market, both of the paid and free varieties. Some work better with certain scanners than others, so recommending any particular one is extremely difficult. Just do your research and experiment around a little until you find one that works with both your needs and your scanner.
