We should point out that our selections are for a range of age groups, and each one should only be used by those for whom it is recommended, and under the supervision of an adult. As with all climbing, jumping, or balancing apparatus, there is always some degree of danger regarding falling or slipping, and therefore a responsible adult should set up and check all equipment before allowing children to use it. Always ensure the area is free of sharp objects, such as branches, rocks, or other hazards, and stay with the youngsters as they play.
Our list includes a number of ninja lines that can be tied between two trees or posts and have various obstacles to traverse. These selections are a good alternative to a traditional jungle gym as they can be removed when not in use to give you more room in your garden. We liked the B Branton Ninja and the American Ninja Warrior Deluxe due to their range of attachments and their durability. For small kids or beginners, the Gentle Booms Sports Extreme is an excellent choice as it offers two slacklines that can be used simultaneously to provide support either above or below the user. The Fofana Slackline made our list as, at 65 feet, it is longer than most other models. However, with such a long line it's difficult to get enough tension; as a result, the course sags in the middle and is quite bouncy, which makes it difficult to navigate. The Topnew Tree is an ideal way for users to get up trees that are lacking low branches, and it's also a good beginner set to use before progressing to more advanced rock climbing holds.
Keeping the fun at ground level, the American Ninja Warrior Competition Set provides hop sacks, jump ropes, and agility rings to use in timed laps or races, while the simple Prextex 3-in-1 Carnival can be useful in building DIY courses for multiple children.
