Editor's Notes

October 10, 2019:

From chemicals to brushes, pool cleaning and maintenance supplies can eat a hole in your wallet, but we've looked for selections that won't need to be constantly replaced — thereby saving you some cash. To suit this requirement, we ultimately decided to remove the Poolmaster 33435 Classic Collection, as it simply can't stand up to ongoing abuse. Those that can go the distance include the Milliard 5-Piece, the U.S. Pool Supply Heavy Duty, and the Haviland I-Helix. This last item is used in commercial settings — it's billed as "professional grade" — and is known for being particularly tough. We opted to add the Oreq Stinger, too, which has a smooth interior and a swivel cuff for great ease of use. It's also quite brightly colored, which will make it hard to mislay.
