The 10 Best Smart Air Purifiers
Editor's Notes
January 24, 2021:
During this update we removed the Honeywell HPA250B as we felt its lack of Wi-Fi connectivity severely hampered its functionality. In its place we included the MiLa 2.0, which exhibits all the features you want in a smart device. Not only does it allow for remote control, but it also learns and adapts over time. For example, it adjusts its airflow to perfectly suit the room it is placed in, and it even automatically quiets itself when a person is in the vicinity so as not to disturb them. We also decided to remove the Dyson Pure Cool TP04 in favor of the Dyson Pure HP04, as the latter offers cooling and heating, making it ideal for all-season use. While not a new recommendation, the Wynd Plus still stands out for its convenient portability, and since it runs on batteries, it can even be used in a vehicle if desired.

For all the innovation that this category offers, there are perhaps still a few too many options that are just plain ugly. Fortunately, there are some attempts to make these devices easier on the eyes, and those also happen to come with some of the best features in terms of connectivity and filtration. The Rabbit model is a great example of this, as is the slightly less impressive LG tower.
