We wanted to include models that are just as suitable for summer use as winter so you get the most for you money, like the Foxelli Carbon Fiber, Vive Ultralight, and Hiker Hunger Tungsten-Tipped. To meet the needs of those preferential to aluminum models, we included the Life In Motion 7075, PaceMaker Stix Expedition, and Black Diamond Expedition 3. Of course there are also hikers preferential to carbon fiber models because of how lightweight they are, so you'll find many of them on the list as well.
