The 8 Best Toilet Stools
Editor's Notes
July 31, 2019:
There are good, anatomically sound reasons to raise your feet and lean forward while doing your business on the toilet. This squatting position causes your colon to elongate and straighten, which means you can poop faster with less straining and pushing. That might help reduce the likelihood of hemorrhoids, and who doesn't want that?
When it comes to toilet stools, 7 inches of lift appears to be the sweet spot, but some are or can be raised as high as nine inches. The exact height might not matter that much; you're just aiming to get your knees higher than your hips. All of our selections will do that.
In this update, we evaluated products based on effectiveness and value. Eliminated an item due to concerns about its availability and added the Furniture Life Folding in one of our top slots. You can adjust their height and place them as far apart as you want, in case a wide stance helps you.
