The 6 Best WiFi Controlled Aquarium Lights
This wiki has been updated 20 times since it was first published in January of 2019. Having an exciting array of colorful tropical fish and coral in a saltwater aquarium is great, but it's less fun if you can't see them, and they may be sluggish if the tank doesn't mimic their natural habitat. Thankfully, there are many smart lights that can be controlled via WiFi from mobile phone apps, letting you dictate the precise level and type of illumination even when you're not at home.

Editor's Notes
January 25, 2019:
The two big variables that can't be avoided when searching for one of these units are the size, which should match your tank, and whether it's good for salt of freshwater. Obviously a waterproof unit is preferred in case you have a mishap, and ease of hanging matters. Most of all, though, the top units have easy app controls that can simulate a variety of real-world environments in order to mimic the natural habitat of marine life.
