The 7 Best Bamboo Cutting Boards
Editor's Notes
July 20, 2019:
Bamboo has a lot going for it when it comes to your kitchen. It's chemical free, easy to clean (though not dishwasher safe), dense enough to resist cuts, and does not easily absorb water, which means it is less prone to odors and bacteria growth. Cutting boards made from the stuff do require maintenance (but so do those made of wood): you should condition it at least once per month to help keep it from cracking and splintering and you should manually dry it after each washing.
In this update, we removed several items due to concerns about their availability and added the Simpli Better Multi-function. We like its innovative design because you don't have to get out extra dishes to store the food you are cutting, which helps a lot on small counter tops.
