The 8 Best Bubble Wraps

Updated July 31, 2019 by Tina Morna Freitas

This wiki has been updated 23 times since it was first published in May of 2016. And you thought all bubble wraps were the same. Not so. Depending on what you are shipping or storing, for how long, how large it is and what level of protection you need, there are all sorts of options, as demonstrated by this selection. They come in various colors with handy precut perforations, and some even have an antistatic coating that will protect your electronics. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

July 25, 2019:

When evaluating the best bubble wraps we chose the Duck Brand Anti-Static for the top spot because it's ideal to have on hand if you're shipping or packing a lot of electronics, plus it doesn't cost too much more than the regular bubble wrap if you use it for the occasional non-electronic items.

The Ecobox Bio Bubble comes highly recommended because it's biodegradable but still as strong as regular bubble wrap, but it didn't take the top spot because if it gets wet while in storage it could start to break down.

We included the US Packshop 350 even though some users find it too thin, because those embarking on a big move are going to be looking for a value-priced option, and those who are packing and transporting their own items with care might not feel the need to over-cushion their belongings.
