May 26, 2021:
It was a busy round of updates, and one that saw half of our previous picks either replaced by upgraded models, or eliminated altogether to make room for new options that presented better features and availability. By the time we were done, the choices we said goodbye to were the Seattle Sports Jumbo, Tricam Table, Freegrace Folding, SereneLife Basin and Prepworks by Progressive DishPan.
We swapped out the Seattle Sports Jumbo for the Seattle Sports Outfitter Class, believing that a bigger portion of our audience would be better served by this alternatives double-sink design, and reasoning that we would still be including good collapsible bucket options with the Sea to Summit 20 Liter and Freegrace Premium — which, incidentally, also made the Freegrace Folding a needless inclusion in our minds. Similarly, we thought that the Prepworks by Progressive DishPan was a bit of a redundant selection, so we decided to eliminate it and retain the UST FlexWare — which sports quite a similar design, but with the helpful addition of handles.
The SereneLife Basin Standard lost its spot to the upgraded SereneLife SLCASN25 – which features bigger wheels, a bigger sink, and a bigger holding capacity – and the Tricam Table had to go to make room for the Outsunny A20-033, which we thought easily outdid the Tricam option with its double sink and integrated trash-bag holder.
The Vingli Self-Contained became the first item ranked on this list that comes with a portable toilet, and we also added the Tye Works Advanced Hand Wash System, for the benefit of anybody looking for a compact and reasonably affordable option made with durable metal components. Note that you’ll need two separately purchased five-gallon pails to get this one up and running, which might be a bit of a hassle, but it’s also a relatively inexpensive add-on, and it means that the unit can be stored in an extremely small space between camping seasons, sans buckets.

Due to ongoing issues with leaks, we've decided to remove the Joseph Joseph Wash & Drain. There are plenty of collapsible bucket options to choose from that hold up well, including the Seattle Sports Jumbo and the UST FlexWare. Note that while these are simple and affordable, some can collapse or spill if you are too rough on them in use. If that's a dealbreaker, you might consider a larger, more robust choice. At this end of the spectrum, we've unfortunately had to remove the Cabela's Outdoor Deluxe due to availability issues, but the GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station is a great alternative. It was designed for portability and functionality, with plenty of tabletop space as well as a wire rack that can hold up to 35 pounds. We've also added the Deluxe Camping Filtration and the SereneLife Basin, which offer a true sink-like experience, rather than a large food prep area. The former has a bucket to catch the used water, while the latter does not, so expect to provide one of your own.
