Uashmama Laundry Bag The Uashmama Laundry Bag doesn't collapse down as small as some, but this bag is squishable to fit into tight spaces. On each, you'll find a press-stud interlocking system that allows you to fasten multiple bags together, as well as a label that you can write on with chalk. shopuashmamausa.com
Zone Collapsible If you had to select only one word to describe the Zone Collapsible, that word might be "clever." Its handles make it a breeze to carry, but when you fold them down, they form a handy opening for tossing clothes into. And although this choice is slightly expensive, it's made of strong fabric to last over the long haul. food52.com
Editor's Notes
April 10, 2020:
Collapsible laundry baskets can be a boon to those short on space, but if you have curious small pets, you'll want to choose carefully. Wire mesh options, especially those with fabric handles, can pose a tangle risk. With that said, mesh options are often hard to beat, since they allow for breathability and are affordably priced. Top choices include the Handy Laundry Single and the House Again Strong. Between these models, there are tons of colors available, and for large households, they're available in packs of two. Those who like to be organized might appreciate the Smart Design Deluxe, as well, since it has a detachable divider that makes it a cinch to separate your lights and darks.
If mesh is too casual, you may want to consider a fabric model, instead. These, including the Dokehom Drawstring and the DII Basket, give you the feel of a laundry hamper, but without taking up so much space. They're on the small side, though, so if you make tons of dirty laundry, you might need to purchase more than one. We've kept the Rubbermaid Configurations, too; it doesn't perform well over the long term when exposed to water, so skip it for wet towels and sweaty workout gear.
Finally, we have decided to add one cart, the VersaCart Transit Original. Anyone who struggles to carry their dirty duds to a laundromat will appreciate its large wheels and sturdy handles, and it folds up when it's not needed. And since it's made for hauling groceries, it gives you more versatility than most.
