Editor's Notes
July 14, 2019:
For this list, we strove to provide a balance between fun novelty aprons and those suitable for professional use. Our top choice, the Hudson Durable Goods Professional, is obviously in the latter group, but it can also make a faithful companion for any amateur who spends a lot of time near a BBQ pit or smoker.
The Big Mouth Inc. Grill Sergeant is obviously at the other end of the spectrum. Anything with a beer bandoleer will get some laughs, but it's nevertheless useful for cooking as well as for drinking. It would certainly be frowned upon for most professional applications, but it's perfectly suitable for tailgating and camping.
The Famgem GOT Tyrion, on the other hand, threads the needle between the two camps. The funny quote emblazoned on the front will make it a popular addition to any cookout, but its durable denim construction and multiple pockets will also make it an invaluable piece of equipment for the serious chef.
