This wiki has been updated 7 times since it was first published in January of 2019. It is often important to have video evidence in the event of a crash, especially when somebody else is at fault. Unfortunately, you can't just attach a regular car dash cam to a motorcycle, as they must be built tough enough to withstand the conditions and vibrations they will be subjected to on a ride. These models should be able to provide you with all the footage you need. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

January 31, 2019:

We did our best to include the most durable and feature-packed motorcycle dash cams that offered good value for the price. We also tried to include as many fully waterproof models as possible, but unfortunately there weren't enough available on the market. We did however, make sure that any models with a non-waterproof monitor could be easily removed and hidden away in a trunk or under-seat storage compartment.
