The 10 Best Dutch Oven Tables
This wiki has been updated 17 times since it was first published in November of 2018. You can prepare all kinds of meals in a cast-iron oven, including stews, casseroles, omelets, and even fresh-baked breads, but to use one out in nature with as little trouble as possible, you'll want a dedicated Dutch oven table. These lift your pots off the ground and save you from stooping to tend to your meal, which is a real benefit if you're tall or tired from a long hike. Editor's Notes
August 24, 2020:
Keeping your Dutch oven out of the dirt is a cinch when you have a table or stand, and we've kept a range of choices of varying sizes and features, for hassle-free use in any cookout scenario. Thanks to their enduring popularity — and more than serviceable design — we've kept both the Camp Chef Table and the Lodge A5-7 as top choices. But we selected a similar model, the Stanbroil Black, as an additional option; it's not quite as wide as the former two, but it has adjustable feet, a handy feature that will make it a good choice for some.
We added the Bruntmor Swing, as well, an alternative to traditional tables. It can hold a Dutch oven or cauldron in two ways, on a hook or on the swinging grate, but if you choose the grate option, you'll probably need to use a Dutch oven without feet. The same is true of the AmazonBasics Outdoor Grill, which also boasts a grate. Note that even though this option is called a grill, it was not designed for direct food contact.
Finally, we kept one cooking tripod, the Lodge Tripod. The adjustable legs are a nice touch, as is the carrying case, but it can be harder to set up than a traditional table. On the other hand, it can help tall users raise a Dutch oven to a comfortable height — assuming your heat source will permit it.

Selected choices from popular manufacturers Camp Chef and Lodge, including the Lodge Tripod for those who need to save weight and/or space. Added the Camp Chef Sherpa, as well, even though it will not hold charcoal like other models; it can still be useful as a prep station.
