This wiki has been updated 16 times since it was first published in January of 2019. Whether your job requires you to carry sensitive electronic equipment or you're concerned about identity theft or location tracking in today's tech-heavy world, one of these Faraday backpacks should put your mind at ease. They're designed to shield your most precious devices, including your smartphone and computer. We've also added some bags with RFID pockets for those with less stringent needs. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

January 30, 2019:

Whether for everyday carry or unique occasions, the Silent Pocket Waterproof, Faraday Defense Bug Out, and Mission Darkness Dry Shield were all selected thanks to their rugged durability and ability to shield their contents. The Travelon Signature Slim and Nomatic Anti-Theft 20L were also added, since they're fine options for travel, although it should be noted that they offer RFID-blocking pockets rather than protection for the entire bag.
