Picking the right flipchart easel is all about determining your needs. If you expect that you'll need to carry the easel to a lot of off-site locations, then your best bet will usually be a traditional tripod-based model, since they collapse and/or fold up to fit in the back of a car. They are also generally lightweight and usually, though not always, more affordable than the wheeled variety. For those on a tight budget however, these may not be an option.
