Editor's Notes

June 05, 2020:

Costumes can quickly get very expensive when you need to buy every piece individually and add a lot of accessories. Luckily, the inflatable options on this list are not only affordable, but come with everything you need for a complete getup. We made sure to include a variety of different designs, so whether you are dressing up for Halloween, Christmas, a theme party, or practically any other event, there would be something to suit your needs. One thing to note about inflatable costumes though, is that they can get a bit hot and stuffy inside, especially the ones that fully encapsulate your face, so make sure to drink plenty of water before and while wearing one.

Costumes that appear to play with physics, like the Toloco Dinosaur T-Rex and Decalare Alien, always make an impression. Both of these make it seem like there is more than one person or creature involved. In the case of the Toloco Dinosaur T-Rex, it looks as if you are riding the dinosaur, while the Decalare Alien makes it look like you are being kidnapped by a large, green extraterrestrial.

If you want to coordinate your costume with friends, the RhythymArts Pink Pig and Rubie's Star Wars BB-8 are both good choices. The former will immediately bring to mind the fairy tale of the Three Little Pigs if you are wearing them with a couple of your buddies, while the manufacturer of the latter also sells costumes of some other popular Star Wars characters. Sometimes, you can even find costumes for dogs that may match with yours, which is sure to make an impression on anyone who sees you and your furry family member walking down the street.

The Rubie's Full Body Suit offers zany fun whether at a costume party or simply making hilarious videos and picture for Youtube and social media accounts, so you may get a bit more use out of it than some of the others, since you won't feel like you are relegated to only using it on Halloween. The Smiffys Roast Turkey is another option you get to use on more than one holiday. It is certainly suitable for a few laughs on Thanksgiving, but the inclusion of a Santa hat means you could get away with wearing to a Christmas party. Of course, it could also easily be worn on Halloween.
