The 6 Best Karcher Pressure Washers

Updated May 30, 2019 by Joseph Perry

This wiki has been updated 20 times since it was first published in May of 2019. When tough outdoor cleaning jobs beckon, you'll want to reach for a pressure washer. They make short work of anything from cars to driveways to decks and fences. Karcher is a respected manufacturer of these labor-saving devices, and it offers electric units that cost less than you might think. Our selections also include some gas-powered models for heavy-duty use. When users buy our independently chosen editorial picks, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. 6. K1900 Electric

Editor's Notes

May 22, 2019:

Gave the K5 Premium the top spot because it has a quieter engine than some other models, it delivers enough pressure for most cleaning jobs, and because it can draw water from a bucket or cistern if tap water isn't available, making it more versatile than some of the other cleaners. We also included gas-powered units for people who have tough jobs to tackle. They're more expensive than electric models, but, like the G3000XK Washer, they deliver greater pressure--up to 3000 PSI.

An avid reader and outdoors enthusiast, Joe earned his doctorate in literary studies before making the lateral leap from academia to technical writing. He now lives and works in the inter-mountain West where he creates technical and marketing content, including white papers, solution briefs, and courseware for some of the world’s largest information technology companies. With more than 14 years of experience in the field, he has learned more than he ever thought he would know about such enterprise IT topics as cloud computing, storage, databases, business software, and networking. When he’s not writing about business computing, he can be found outdoors, probably hiking with his family and dog.
