Most people don't need a dedicated office, or indeed don't have the space to justify one. However, most people do appreciate the benefits of having a convenient workspace where they can use the computer, do the household accounting, or write letters and such forth. A ladder desk is a functional alternative to a regular desk as it takes up less space, and thanks to its bookshelf-like design, looks much better as an item of furniture.

When choosing a suitable ladder desk for your home the first consideration is where it will be placed, as this will dictate the size you need. If you have a whole wall to spare then you may consider one of the larger items such as the Tribesigns Workstation or the Mainstay Sumpter Park, both of which feature additional shelving either side of the desk, and can provide a useful place for extra work or study related material, as well as for displaying photos or ornaments. When it comes to styling there are plenty of choices, too.
