The 8 Best Outdoor Movie Screens
This wiki has been updated 15 times since it was first published in December of 2017. When you want to entertain a large crowd — anything from your next Superbowl event to a children's birthday party — consider the novelty a giant outdoor movie screen can provide. They're portable enough to take with you on camping trips or to a friend's house, but you should probably not project a 300-inch screening of "Game of Thrones," unless you have approval from all your neighbors. Editor's Notes
October 21, 2019:
While the Elite Screens Yardmaster Dual was rated first on our list because it looks fabulous with the higher quality technology out there, like 4 and 8K or even 3D, the price is pretty high for a family that might only use it once or twice a summer and hasn't invested in a top quality projector.
The Jaeil PLM 2-in-1 is also highly recommended and comes at a lower price point while still having a quality frame and a black back to block out any light from behind. It's also useful indoors because you can hang it on a wall.
For families that want the least amount of set-up possible, we included the Holiday Styling Inflatable and the Easy Go Products Mega. The screens on these models tend to be thin, with no black backing, but if you know you're using it in a completely darkened area, you'll get a good picture.
