The 10 Best Phone Purses

Updated April 26, 2020 by Brett Dvoretz

This wiki has been updated 22 times since it was first published in March of 2018. Thanks to inventions like Apple Pay and Venmo, your smartphone is almost the only thing you need to go out the door. Of course, you'll want to keep that valuable device both protected and handy for quick access, which all of the options on this list do. Rather than lugging around a big bag, you can carry all your essentials in one of these compact phone purses, and do it in style. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

April 23, 2020:

There is no arguing that a good phone purse should hold your device securely, but we are of the mind that it should also act as a fashion accessory. Providing some extra storage for a few other essentials isn't a bad idea either. We tried to include a list of items that both shoppers looking for something basic or those seeking something more intricate could appreciate.

Smartphones only seem to be increasing in size these days, so we like that the Ranboo Gomen Multifunctional is large enough for the iPhone 11, and devices of a similar build. Its many storage pockets were a plus, too. The Gcepls Crossbody can also accommodate some hefty phones. We removed the M.Way Vertical, as it proved too much of a tight fit when holding phones donning large cases. The Hengwin Premium also struggled to accommodate big devices, so it, too, lost its place.

Since purses should be stylish as well as functional, we like the Seosto Womens Holder with its tassels and die-cut pattern, as well as the Minicat RFID Blocking Wallet with its sleek hardware and either faux suede or faux leather construction, depending on the model. Though attractive, the Goodhan Vintage was rather bulky, so it lost its place to slim options like the Danny K Tapestry and the S-Zone Wallet.

Protection was a top priority, so the Chala Chala Crossbody with its padded interior, and the Vera Bradley Performance Twill Carson Deluxe with its weather-resistant fabric caught our attention and wound up ranking highly.
