While many of the options listed here are only suitable for one thing, whether that's pulling a trailer or holding up a bike rack, the HiTow Dual is capable of doing both simultaneously. That's a big reason why it ranked so highly here, along with the fact that the lower receiver can be extended, making it easier to hook on to your trailer.

The Betooll Monoblock is one of the easiest models to install that we found, as it simply bolts on to your bumper with the included U-bolts. While not substantial enough to pull a trailer, it's more than formidable enough to hold a bike rack, cargo carrier, or other accessory without wobbling.

If you do need to haul a trailer, though, you'll need a tow hitch to hook up to your receiver. Two-inch receivers are the industry standard, and that's what you'll find on this list. Be sure to check that your hitch and receiver are compatible before you make a purchase.
