A fire pit is a classy and relatively safe way to make your yard quite a bit more comfortable, whether you're entertaining guests, or just enjoying your evening. They come in all shapes and sizes, from the squat and round, like the Huntington Cove, to the tall and stately, like the Bond Newcastle. Great Deal Furniture makes a few excellent options, both round and square, and we've highlighted a couple of the most popular. The AmazonBasics gets a lot of great reviews, but be aware that you may have to bend its bowl back into shape once you receive it. The Oriflamme Savannah and SDI Slate models are pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for, as they simply look great and are quite functional. Also, we really like the Elementi Manhattan, which has the appearance of being hewn from a single, massive piece of rock. It's also quite pricey, but it looks absolutely stunning. No matter which you choose, make sure you have enough propane or firewood around to fuel it, and it's also a great idea to have a fire extinguisher handy, just in case. Always use safe practices whenever you're dealing with anything flame-related, and don't let kids operate these without adult supervision.
