If you're looking for a regular, medium-size flashlight, it's hard to beat the 8.85-inch Stinger DS, which is bright, energy-efficient, and has a durable, water-resistant shell. The Strion LED is a little smaller at nearly 6 inches long, making it a great size to keep in your glove box or desk, and it comes with both AC and DC adapters, so you can even charge it in the car. The SL 20-L is a full-size model at 13 inches, and its simple one-handed operation and flashing strobe mode make it suitable for law enforcement, fire and rescue, and security applications.
