There are basically two types of towel steamers: pot-style and cabinet-style. Units with a plastic chamber are a great option for small washcloths and personal use. Some steamers like the Mibihibi Personal Warmer has a reservoir that you fill with water to generate enough steam to get the towels moist and toasty. Generally, cabinet-style options, such as the Elite Mini Cabinet, require that you wet the towels and wring them out before putting them inside.

If you are searching for a unit for personal use, a small steamer like the Barber Pro Hot Mini can handle four to five face towels. For medium-sized businesses, the Dermalogic 48 is a great option, as it provides space for 48 towels, and the Town 28501 offers room for up to 80 hand towels for busy salons, spas, and restaurants.

Although the use of steam naturally removes germs and bacteria, units like the ZeHuoGe Ozone Cabinet also features a UV light to minimize the risk.
