When it comes to hair clippers, the Wahl brand is hard to beat both for professionals and those at home thanks to their attention to detail, convenient bundles that include things like beard oil for maintenance, hard-working motors, and more. If you have a specific need, models like the Super Taper II and Balding 8110 are helpful, while the budget-friendly Color Pro is great for household use and children's haircuts.
Coming into our latest update, we felt our list was packed with solid contenders, but decided to make a small tweak to the lineup by adding the Peanut Trimmer.
This little clipper packs a decent amount of power into a small package, with an ergonomic grip and lightweight construction that's easy to maintain and maneuver. Its diminutive size also makes it handy for precision work and beard trimming. One drawback, though, is that it cannot switch between corded and cordless the way the Limited Edition 100 Year, Color Pro, Professional 5-Star Magic Clip, and others do. It is strictly corded, so know that going in.
To make room for the Peanut we had to say goodbye to the Senior V9000, which tends to get hot extremely fast, making it a poor choice for the professional use it's intended for. Note that the All Star Combo comes with two clippers that include the Peanut in the event you're willing to spend a little extra to get more.

We felt the Professional 5-Star Magic Clip was deserving of a top spot on account of its versatility, as it offers corded performance despite being battery-powered. As you might expect, however, many of the selections on this list are very close in terms of quality, and so users are unlikely to go too terribly wrong with any models found here.
