A wall-hung toilet can make a big difference to small bathrooms. Generally speaking, a wall-mounted option will be used in conjunction with a carrier frame that incorporates the water tank, and is built into a stud wall. This can save up to 12 inches over a regular floor-mounted alternative, which can mean the difference between a bathroom looking cramped and confined, or feeling roomy and spacious. Another benefit is that without a bulky tank or pedestal, cleaning the area around the fixture is much easier. The toilets we considered in this review come in a range of styles and price ranges to match your existing sinks, showers, hardware, and of course, your budget.
The two smallest options we included in this ranking are the Duravit Starck 3 and the Kholer Veil. Both come with a seat and have concealed mounting hardware, and the latter is available in a range of colors, too, so if you are trying to match it with existing fixtures, then this could be a good choice. The Swiss Madison Plaisir and the Duravit Vero are very modern, contemporary options with individual styling, one being circular, and the other square. Both of these options can be matched with sinks, bidets, and baths in the same design to give you a complete suite. The Swiss Madison Ivy is a good all-round choice, notable for its elegant curves and standardized connection and mounting fittings. It also comes with a high-quality, soft closing seat.

They are rather expensive, but for your money, you will enjoy heated washing and drying, deodorizing, a night light, and even soothing music should you desire. On a more functional level, the Saniflo 012 Sanistar incorporates a macerator that breaks down waste and pumps it away through a small-bore pipe, thus allowing it to be installed in places where otherwise it would not be possible, for instance, in basements or in attics.
