Editor's Notes

June 17, 2020:

I'm not afraid to admit that labeling things can be a real pain, especially when the paper and adhesive used to do so aren't very durable, requiring constant repair or replacing on a regular basis. Not only is that annoying, but it can be costly. Back when I was in school, I always had my name clearly printed on my lunch containers. At the beginning of the year, my mom would always use a black or blue magic marker to label things like that. Even though my lunch boxes rarely ever got wet, the writing on the label still faded throughout the year due to sunlight exposure, humidity, and impacts.

Our list of waterproof labels offers a number of benefits over standard labels, not least of which is an ability to withstand extreme temperatures and frequent washer and dryer cycles without peeling or fading. Many are also compatible with either inkjet or laser printers.

Great for pantry and classroom use, the Savvy & Sorted Premium comes with a liquid marker for providing crisp white writing on its 96 chalkboard-style stickers.

We've also added the Milcoast Matte for its gloss-free finish and ability to cut its sheets to the appropriate size, depending on the graphics needed for your business or personal items.

Both the Avery Daycare and Chubbiee No-Iron can be safely applied to your children's clothes without having to use an iron, the former of which are even safe for use in the microwave.

The laminate covers on the Avery Professional protect your writing from abrasions, sunlight, and harsh chemicals. You'll also have access to downloadable graphic templates.

While a majority of our options can help identify jars, containers, baby bottles, and clothes, the Mini Skater 720 are specifically designed to distinguish all the power cords around the house. I know that I have a huge mess of cables behind my entertainment center, so I could definitely benefit from a set of these to tell my TV cables apart from those attached to my Blu Ray player and other equipment as an example.

Finally, the Avery UltraDuty GHS withstand extreme marine environments and can even be submerged in seawater for up to 90 days without peeling, making them ideal for adhering to metal chemical barrels and other heavy equipment at job sites.
