Editor's Notes

March 26, 2019:

There's a wide price range reflected here, from starter machines like the MX7 and the Coinmaster to heavy-duty options on the more expensive end of things. I've included options that are better for casual use as well as selections better suited to advanced users, from the MX Sport to the Goldmaster 24K. While most of these products are not entirely waterproof, many come with water-resistant casing and a waterproof coil for searching underwater.

4. Spectra VX3

5. MX Sport 800-0347

6. TreasureMaster 800-0345

7. MX5 800-0334

8. TreasurePro 10"

9. Coinmaster Pro

10. MX7 VLF
