There truly is a Brumate to suit everyone, irrespective of whether or not you drink alcohol. They are rugged in their construction, highly insulated, and many feature lids, which, while not completely watertight, will prevent any major mishaps, should your cooler be knocked over.

Your ideal Brumate depends on your drinking and lifestyle habits. Some are clearly geared towards the consumption of beer and these include the Hopsulator Slim, which fits most thinner 12 ounce cans; the Hopsulator Juggernaut, which fits 24 and 25 ounce cans; the Imperial Pint, which substitutes a pint glass; the Hopsulator Twist, which holds most 16 ounce bottles; and the Hopsulator Trio. The latter is convertible to fit both 12 and 16 ounce cans, using an adapter that slips inside.

Those intended for use with spirits include the Highball Tumbler, the Rocks Lowball, and the MargTini 10 Ounce, which are ideal for long drinks, short drinks, and cocktails, respectively. There is also the Champagne Flute and the Uncork'd XL for wines, which, although it fits nicely in the hand and doesn't appear overly large, holds over half a bottle. These all come with lids that lock in carbonation, protect your drink from bugs and dust when used outdoors, and all are insulated enough to slow ice melting, thus reducing the amount of dilution over time.

It should be noted that Brumates are not dishwasher-safe, and are not suitable for use in the microwave. Despite these minor inconveniences, they offer a handy solution when attending events and social outings, especially when used outdoors. They keep drinks warm in winter and cool in summer, some make great travel mugs that can contain hot drinks without scalding your hand, they reduce spillages, and crucially, they will not shatter when dropped.
