The 10 Best Garden Stools
Special Honors
Serena & Lily Teak Camp Stool With its clean, modern aesthetic, the Serena & Lily Teak Camp Stool would blend right into your minimalist, contemporary garden. You may want to avoid getting it dirty, however, as the price might just make it painful to replace. serenaandlily.com
Kathy Kuo Classic Prosperity The Kathy Kuo Classic Prosperity is more decorative than functional, but if you’re cultivating a rich, global look, it would make a fine addition to your decor. Each has subtle variations in the glaze for that unique, hand-made appeal. kathykuohome.com
Editor's Notes
July 31, 2019:
At this time, we have opted to keep a selection of decorative and functional choices that are great for everything from casual to serious use. On the lighter end of this spectrum, we have kept the Deco 79 Drum and added both the Safavieh Double Coin and the BirdRock Floral. These offer you a place to perch when you need a break; they can also function as a side table or seating for a guest. Choices for more heavy-duty use include the Best Choice Rolling Seat and the Vertex Rocker. These allow you to work in the dirt for longer and with less pain than if you were to bend and stoop. For the greatest relief, you might try alternating between one of these stools and a garden kneeler, depending on the task. Finally, we have decided to add the GCI Outdoor PackSeat. This isn’t technically a garden stool, but if you have a large area to take care of and need to sit down from time to time, it’s a good — and portable — tool to have around.
