The Raptor Micro-Mesh earns first place by stopping pine needles and shingle grit, the fine stuff that gets past cheaper screens, and it can screw to the gutter lip instead of going under the shingles. It replaces the wider Raptor kit we listed before, which is still sold for six- and seven-inch gutters.
Half the old list had to go. The EZ-Gutter EZ-Quick and the Amerimax Snap-In are unavailable, the EZ-Gutter EZ-Shield is out of stock with no restock date, and the Gutter Stuff EZ seems to have left the market. The Wedge Downspout was a downspout fitting, not a cover. If you came looking for the EZ-Shield, the A-M Gutter Guard is the closest snap-in aluminum match.

Measure The Gutter, Then Look Up At The Trees
A guard that's too narrow leaves a gap, and one that's too wide won't sit flat.
Gutter guards are sold by gutter width, so measure before you buy. Run a tape across the top opening from the inside edge to the outside edge. Most American houses have five-inch K-style gutters, the kind with a flat back and a decorative front, but six-inch gutters are common on bigger roofs, and some older homes have round ones. A guard that's too narrow leaves a gap, and one that's too wide won't sit flat.
