Selecting just the right headlamp is tough, but we've made sure to keep some models that take away the biggest common problem: bouncing. These include the Princeton Tec Remix, the Black Diamond Spot, and the upgraded version of the Petzl Tikkina. Unlike many, these have a slim, small profile, allowing them to remain in one place and not jump up and down. We also added another Petzl model, the Reactik+, although this won't be for every user. Why? Because it has many high-tech features that not every runner will care about or want to pay for. It's rechargeable, though, which is a plus. At the other end of the spectrum, we added the Vitchelo V800; this is not the most durable of the bunch, but if your nighttime runs are limited, it might be fine to keep on hand. Finally, we removed the Heimdall Headlamp due to concerns about availability and replaced the Black Diamond Sprinter with the BioLite HeadLamp 330, which is lighter and, currently, easier to find.
