The 10 Best Krill Oils
This wiki has been updated 31 times since it was first published in January of 2017. While fish oil is praised for its high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, nutritionists and the health conscious have started to catch on to krill oil, as an alternative. Since it comes from shellfish at the bottom of the food chain, it naturally contains fewer impurities and heavy metals. Our selection of capsules boasts the freshest and cleanest options of this powerful supplement.

Editor's Notes
March 29, 2019:
We included choices from reputable brands that were subject to some form of certification or outside testing. While some of the cheaper options use a mix of fish and krill oil, (which is also considered to be an effective way to get Omega 3's), the Bronson Softgels have one of the lowest prices on the list per serving while still offering 100% krill oil at similar levels to other brands. It has the added benefit of an easy-to-swallow size.
The Now Food Neptune is also near the top of the list for being the only choice to have an enteric coating which is ideal for those who suffer from the fish burps, a side effect so bothersome that some users will stop taking them.
