Juicy Couture 503/S If you love Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn, and 1960s fashion, you might love the Juicy Couture 503/S, too. But don't let the throwback styling fool you; they provide plenty of modern protection and are even available with prescription lenses. kempermedical.com
Ray-Ban 4105 They aren't cheap, but for fans of the brand, the Ray-Ban 4105 may be more than worth it. They're modeled after the ever-popular Classic Wayfarer, and as a bonus, they're foldable so you can easily tuck them into a pocket. protechmed.com
Editor's Notes
March 12, 2021:
The only changes made this time around were the removal of a discontinued Phillips option, and the removal of the remaining Nike selections. It appears that Nike is no longer directly producing lead-lined glasses, so you'll have to look at something like the Oakley Two Face if you want a truly high-end pair.
Overall, we like the Phillips RG-206 and Phillips RG-17012 for small and medium--size heads, and the VS Eyewear RG-808 is especially appealing because of the thorough blocking provided by its wrap-around style.
October 08, 2019:
Unfortunately, at this time, it's become tough to locate the Nike Siren, so we've opted to replace them with the Nike Flex Finesse. We like that these arrive with a strap, case, and cleaning cloth, and that they're offered in several handsome colors. But when it comes to the finest choices, the more budget-friendly models from Phillips remain on top. They offer high-quality lenses made for excellent light transmission and clarity, so protection does not come at the cost of your vision. Plus, there are models at varying levels of coverage so they're useful in a variety of fields. For those who need a higher degree of protection, we added the Phillips RG-RK 2. They resemble sports goggles but offer a .75-millimeter lead equivalency. They take the place of the Kelida Style H, which are not readily available at the present moment.
October 18, 2018:
Removed the Slim-T, Nike Mavrk, and Phillips PSR-600 models due to continuing issues with availability. Investigated and selected several additional Phillips models on the strength of safety, style, and affordable price points. Added the Kelida Style H as a choice for those who need goggles, not glasses.
