The 10 Best Massage Table Sheets

Updated September 17, 2020 by Melissa Harr

This wiki has been updated 33 times since it was first published in January of 2017. Even an expensive massage table is not especially comfortable unless it is covered with a comfortable sheet. The linens in our selection are available in various materials, colors, and sizes, and can stand up to being washed and dried repeatedly. None of them are outrageously pricey, and we've also included disposable options for high-volume facilities and therapists. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

September 14, 2020:

Even though not everyone appreciates disposable items, we've kept both disposable and regular sheets at this time; there are situations where the former can be helpful, as in high volume settings, so they are a workable choice for some. We still like the Therapist's Choice Disposable and the Earthlite Disposable Face Cradle Covers, even though the Earthlite are, well, light, and don't stay put the way a true cover would. But they're affordable and hypoallergenic, two big pluses in their favor.

As for regular, reusable sheet sets, the Therapist’s Choice Premium Deluxe still come out on top, with the Earthlite Flannel not far behind. These feel soft to the touch, can handle being washed repeatedly, and are sized to fit most standard massage tables. For those who prefer organic sheets, we selected the Arcadia Organic Percale. Each set is a bit pricier than many alternatives, but you can rest assured that these sheets will not expose clients to any harsh chemicals or lingering pesticides. Plus, no bleach or dyes are used in making them. Of course, that means they come in one color only. For more colorful choices, look to the Master Massage Universal or the London Linens Polycotton.

April 04, 2019:

Sheets can make or break the massage experience, so we looked for only those that can stand up to repeated washing and drying without immediately looking shabby. Because of potential issues with this long-term durability, we decided to remove the Body Linen Tranquility and not to add models from Saloniture. Instead, we kept the Therapist’s Choice Premium Deluxe and Mt Massage Tables Universal as top choices. Both come from well-known and respected companies, and both can handle laundering without extreme pilling. After some consideration, we also elected to add a couple of disposable options, including the Earthlite Cradle Covers. These are not the most environmentally or wallet friendly choices, but there may be times when they are necessary, as in an event setting. Keep in mind that these, as well as the non-disposable kind, may not fit every single massage table, even when marketed as "universal fit," so measuring is always a good idea.
